RGSL Player Code of Conduct:

The purpose of this agreement is to promote sportsmanship, respect, and fair play for all participants in RGSL. Please review these expectations carefully and continue to follow them throughout the season. By signing the registration form, you acknowledge that you understand and agree to follow this Code of Conduct:

🥎 Player Expectations

• I choose to play softball because I enjoy the game and want to participate.
• I will follow the rules and play with honesty and integrity.
• I will take responsibility for my actions both on and off the field while representing my team and RGSL.
• I will act in a safe and respectful manner, avoiding behavior that could harm myself or others.
• I understand that alcohol, tobacco, and drugs are NOT permitted in any softball activity.
• I will manage my emotions and maintain self-control during all games and practices.
• I will show respect toward my teammates, opponents, spectators, and officials at all times.
• I understand that competition stays on the field and does not carry over into school or daily life.
• I will contribute positively to my team and support a team-first attitude.
• I understand that effort, improvement, and teamwork are more important than winning.
• I will respect the guidance and decisions of coaches and officials.
• I will make the most of practice and game time by staying focused and giving my best effort.
• I will arrive on time and prepared for all team activities.
• I will communicate with my coach if I am unable to attend or will be late to a practice or game.
• I will respect all facilities, equipment, and the belongings of others.
• I will remain IN the dugout for the duration of the game 
• I will help keep the field and team areas clean and assist with equipment when needed.
• I will strive to do my best in all areas of my life, both on and off the field.
• I will carry myself with respect, confidence, and good sportsmanship.
• I will speak with my parents or coaches if I have concerns or need support.
